The Canada Disability Benefit is a monthly payment for low-income working-age adults with disabilities. You need an approved Disability Tax Credit to get it.
How muchJuly 2026 to June 2027: up to $204.20/month, based on 2025 adjusted family net income. Full amount up to $23,000 (single) or $32,500 (couple), then reduced gradually. Up to $10,210 (single) or $14,294 (couple) of work income is not counted. A one-time $150 supplement was paid September 17, 2026 to people who got CDB between July 2025 and June 2026.
When it's paidPaid monthly, starting the month after approval. Back pay may cover up to 24 months, but not before June 2025.
